Gem enables talent teams to build diverse teams by building diverse pipelines. One of our first features was gender insights for talent teams to understand how their efforts affect gender diversity, and many of our customers love and benefit from the gender breakdown in Pipeline Analytics and Outreach Stats.

We’re excited to announce that you can now apply the same care to race/ethnicity diversity insights in Gem. You can use this information to:

  • View what your sourcing pipeline looks like even before candidates enter process
  • See how different populations are receiving and responding to your outreach
  • Inform hiring managers about the composition of talent pools
  • Understand via top of funnel metrics why your team did or did not hit diversity hiring goals
  • Race/Ethnicity Breakdowns in Outreach Stats

You can now see race/ethnicity breakdowns in Outreach Stats under Team Activity. This breakdown will be viewable only in aggregate for groups greater than 20. The race/ethnicity field will not be displayed on the candidate profile, and is not editable. Recall, or “accuracy,” rate is 75-95%.

Here’s an example of how it looks, overall by quarter:
