Overview
You can complete a variety of actions in bulk across multiple applications, candidates, and jobs. This helps you save time when importing large lists, scheduling high-volume interviews, or moving candidate data between Gem and your ATS.
This article lists bulk actions that are currently supported in Gem, with links to the detailed articles that include step-by-step instructions.
Requirements
- Your team must have access to the Gem product that supports the bulk action you want to complete, such as AI Sourcing or Gem ATS.
- You must have the required role permissions in Gem for the bulk action you want to complete. For more information, see Gem access types and permissions.
- If the bulk action involves a third-party integration, your team must have that integration set up.
Bulk create applications
You can create new Gem ATS applications in bulk using prospect data in a Project in Gem. This helps you move prospects into your hiring workflow faster when working with a high volume of candidates.
For step-by-step instructions, see Bulk create applications for prospects in a Project.
Import prospects in bulk
Upload a resume book to create multiple prospect profiles at once
Resume Book Upload allows you to import multiple candidates at once by uploading a PDF of resumes (a “resume book” or “look book”) to a project. Gem parses the resumes and creates prospect profiles.
For step-by-step instructions, see Resume book upload.
Import candidates in bulk
Import candidates into jobs via CSV (single job or multiple jobs)
You can import a list of candidates from a CSV file to:
- A single job.
- Multiple jobs in bulk.
For step-by-step instructions, see Gem ATS: Import candidates into jobs via CSV.
Send outreach to candidates in bulk
Gem Projects can support bulk outreach workflows when you use Projects to group candidates for a role. For more information, see Getting started with Gem Projects: Overview and dashboard.
Schedule candidates in bulk
Send self-scheduling links in bulk
You can send self-scheduling links to multiple candidates who are in the same interview stage.
For step-by-step instructions, see Gem Scheduling: The self-scheduling workflow.
Invite candidates to a Superday in bulk
When using Superdays for high-volume interviews, you can invite multiple candidates to a Superday in bulk.
For step-by-step instructions, see Gem Scheduling: Superdays.
Integration actions
Upload multiple people to Greenhouse from a Gem Project
If your team uses the Greenhouse integration, you can upload multiple people to Greenhouse directly from within a Gem Project.
For step-by-step instructions, see Bulk import people into Greenhouse from a Gem Project.
Import people from Entelo into Greenhouse using Gem (bulk workflow)
If you are working with exported data from Entelo, you can use a Gem Project and CSV import and export steps to bulk import people from Entelo into Gem and then into Greenhouse.
