Bulk Import People into Greenhouse from a Gem Project

Candidates can be uploaded into Greenhouse directly from within your Gem Projects.

Open the Project in your Gem account, and click on the ‘Actions’ button, then select ‘Upload to Greenhouse’.

Configure the upload

You will have several options available for configuring how the candidates will appear when they arrive in Greenhouse.

Three of the fields in the upload flow are required:

• Upload people as - select prospect or candidate. For most individuals coming from Gem, you will have already engaged with them and they have likely expressed interest in the role, so they would be added to Greenhouse as a candidate so you can move them further along in your hiring funnel.
• Job - select which Job in Greenhouse you would like to add the candidates to. Only open jobs in Greenhouse will be an option here.
• Stage - this will usually be the first stage in your interview process.

You can also add additional Greenhouse tags to the candidates at this time.

Once you click the ‘Upload to Greenhouse’ button, the candidates will be imported into your Greenhouse instance and associated with the selected Job.
