- (Internal) Lever Integration: How to set up Lever EEO Data Import (📍you are here)
Step 1: CSMs need to enable import for the selected team through the Support dashboard
- In the Support Dashboard, in the Overview tab, select the box to allow importing Lever EEOC Data
Step 2: Request Lever Super Admin to download EEOC report
- Ask the team’s Lever Super Admin (non-Super Admin users will not be able to download this data) to download their team’s EEO/OFCCP report WITH personally identifiable information (the Anonymized report will not work because it doesn’t identify a candidate to their survey responses)
- The Lever Super Admin can find this report by visiting this link: https://hire.lever.co/visual-insights/exports/eeo (they must be logged into their Lever account)
- Note: Ask user to select “From the beginning of time to today” when it is their first time downloading the report so we can capture all historical data. Going forward, they can select the time range since the last time they downloaded it. We recommend Admins upload this report at least monthly (or more frequent if they can)/
- Please see screenshot below of what the customer will see when downloading the report:
Step 3: Team Gem Admins submit this data through additional settings
- Team Gem admins can now submit this generated report through the Lever EEO Data Import section (found in the Team Settings > Additional Settings tab)
- Note: Only .csv files are accepted and users can track updates and files previously submitted through the change-log
- Once submitted, the user should see a confirmation notification saying their file was uploaded
- They should then receive a confirmation email (sent to the email of the Admin who submitted the file) saying their data was successfully parsed and is ready to view in PA

- In case of a parsing error with the CSV we send them an error notification -
- Since the file is auto-generated by Lever, we expect certain fields and in case those don’t exist we send a specific email to the user with the missing column specified
- This could be because the user submitted an incorrect file, or could’ve over-written the file by mistake. Usually, re-downloading from Lever and uploading to Gem should fix the error

In other cases, we send a generic error message to the user (this could be due to a variety of reasons - corrupted file, error downloading etc)- We recommend that the user double-check that they can access the file locally and try submitting again
- If this does not work, they can send the file over to the CSM for a look to verify details
You can find an example CSV Lever Report here.
Note: Here, data from both Gender and Race/Ethnicity values are used in PA reporting so the user should see differences when grouping/breaking down by either filter.
