Data Retention
- Candidates that have been deleted/anonymized in the ATS will be deleted/anonymized in Gem the next time a full sync occurs. See +ATS Data Sync Overview for how this timing varies by ATS
- Gem profiles will not be deleted/anonymized, even if some of the data in the profile was imported from an ATS candidate that no longer exists
FAQ
Q: Do notes created in Gem sync to Lever?
A: Yes, notes created in Gem sync to Lever, but if a note is created in Lever, it does not sync to Gem (Notes are one way, not bi-directional).
Q: If I only upload to Lever after a candidate displays interest, will those emails still sync to the to the newly created Lever candidate profile?
A: Once you upload the candidate to Lever, the emails going forward will sync, we do not backdate emails at this time.
To sync past emails with a candidate, users can still go to the candidate’s profile in Lever and click on the refresh symbol next to the candidate’s email address. Lever will use its own email integration, syncing any past emails that were sent prior to being uploaded from Gem.
Q: Why aren’t the emails added to the Emails section of Lever (insteadof the Notes section)?
A: The Email section is not available currently in the Lever API.
Q: Is Lever Email sync available for STFF customers that are configured with a multi-ATS setup, or are they limited to using the old Lever integration without email sync?
A: No, not at this time - they are limited to using the old Lever integration without email sync.
Q: Will InMails logged through Gem show up in Lever?
A: No, only emails.
