Summary
Gem Admins can create custom questions on a scorecard and save them as a template so interviews can use different scorecard templates.
Eligibility
You must have Gem’s ATS & be a Gem Admin to configure these scorecards
Why did we build it?
Recruiters want different scorecards/criteria for different interviews. Before, there was only one scorecard for all interviews AND the scorecards only had an overall rating. This allows recruiters to create custom questions and assign these scorecard templates to different roles.
Personas+ Use Cases
Recruiting Managers/Leaders can create scorecard templates when they are creating the Interview Plan for a role or whenever they need to create a new scorecard.

Functional Details
How does the product work?
- New tab in the left nav, ‘Templates’
- Click on New scorecard template
- Name your template (we recommend naming it something obvious that is linked to the interview or department so it’s easy to connect to the interview)
- Create an overall recommendation score - we suggest you use the same overall scale for all scorecards - this will help with consistency in decision making & reporting.
- Add any additional questions that you want interviewers to fill out:
- free form text box
- single-select
- multi-select
- Select Publish
Limitations/Gotchas?
- Only admins can create and manage configurable scorecards now
- Recruiters can not detach a template to make edits while attaching a scorecard to an interview
- Active templates cannot yet be deleted or made inactive
Future State
- Roadmap:
- ability to search on the scorecard attributes in Prospect Search
- ability to report on the scorecard attributes in Talent Compass
- create groups/titles of types of questions if you want to group similar types of questions together

FAQ
Q: What happens if you change a question in the template?
A: It will not change the scorecard for scorecards that have already been filled out. It will change the question/make the update for any future scorecard that uses that template.
