What is Application Review?
Gem’s Application Review simplifies and streamlines how recruiters manage their surging inbound applications, empowering them to quickly sift through their applicant stack and find quality candidates, all at record speed and with minimal headaches.
Eligibility
The team must have Deep Sync for Greenhouse enabled and they must grant Gem the needed permission scopes in order for them to reject and advance candidates.
How do we enable Application Review for customers?
- Navigate to their Product Modules tab on the Support Dashboard, and enable Application Review
- Since you’ll need to enable the applicant_review feature flag as well, assume any user on the team then click the wrench icon on the bottom right-hand corner of any Gem page
- Click Manage feature flags

FAQ
Q: Within Application Review, are we able to see Greenhouse scorecards in the activity feed or anywhere else?
A: Greenhouse scorecards are attached to each application in the Applications tab. The user can click in for more details.
Q: If we schedule a rejection email, is there a way to cancel it once scheduled?
A: Rejection emails that haven’t been sent yet can be canceled from the activity feed.
Q: If you have two job postings feeding into one Greenhouse req, is there a way to know which role a given candidate applied to? Right now, within Greenhouse, you can see which role the candidate applied to.
A: We don’t show the job posting, but under the Applications tab the user can click into Greenhouse to verify.
