Summary
Users can now create bespoke webpages within Gem, also known to some in the industry as āmicro-sitesā or ālanding pages,ā which can be used for various use cases.
This version of Gem Pages will be used most readily for recruiting event marketing, talent community registration, or university recruiting purposes - but we would love to hear how customers get creative!
Pages is part of the Brand & Events Marketing Module that can be purchased as an add-on.
Eligibility
Any customer is eligible to purchase the Brand & Events Marketing.
Why did we build it?
Talent teams need to build micro-sites to spread the word about their recruiting events, specific craft / department, talent communities, etc - but they donāt always have a āwebsite developmentā resource easily at their disposal. Gem pages enable them to fully own this w/ an easy to use drag+drop editor.
Personas+ Use Cases
Dedicated Talent Marketers, or Talent Acquisition teams that handle talent marketing functions (such as managing events, talent communities, or running branded email campaigns)
Hereās a few examples that our internal solutions consultant teams created with our Gem pages, for you to see the creative ways this feature can be used:
Talent Community Building
- Teams can create custom pages to encourage visitors to sign up for their talent community. These pages can have a Gem Form embedded that will be used to collect visitor information and route candidates into Gem Projects
University Recruiting
- Build a page where university students can see all upcoming events, application deadlines, on-campus interview dates, and more (example)
Interview portal
- Build a page where candidates can prepare for on-sites with tailored content that you provide for them (videos, blogs, etc.)
Brand and Team Promotion
- Create pages that promote your team culture and brand (e.g., commitment to DEI, company perks, videos, etc.) (example)
- You can also add specific open jobs from your ATS (Workday, Greenhouse, SF ATS)
Events
- Create custom landing pages for each event and embed a Gem Form so you can capture attendee information, track registrations, and re-engage promising connections (example)
- Show a schedule of upcoming events (example)
Competition
Phenom People, Beamery, Eightfold all support this functionality.
Comp intel : Phenom doesnāt seem to be able to support āembedded Formsā within an Events page.

Customizing URL Options
Teams can also customize landing page URLs to align with their brand (see details here).
Custom Tracking Links
Many of our customers would like to track where visitors to their pages are coming from based on unique tracking links. You can create a custom tracking link in your pageās āTracking Linksā tab. There, you will see all your custom links, the number of page views, and form submissions associated with each link.
Limitations/Gotchas?
- Custom URLs for your Gem pages will be somewhat limited (for now looks like https://www.gem.com/lp/gem/XYZ, weāre looking at options like COMPANY.gem.page/EVENT-NAME)
Future State
- Considering adding a few starter templates to the āPages libraryā (reduce adoption barrier / getting started)
- Gem pages will be a stepping stone to us building out a full-fledged career site in 2023
What if customers have feedback on it?
