Summary
We offer limited Talent Compass functionality for customers who use Gem Jobs.
Eligibility
Customers must have Gem Jobs enabled.
Personas+ Use Cases
Leaders, Rec Managers, Rec Ops, Hiring Managers, Recruiters — many personas will benefit from looking at reports related to their open job reqs.
Functional Details
How doyou set Talent Compass for Gem Jobs up for a customer?
- The team’s primary or secondary ATS Type should be set to Gem Jobs, aka ats_lite.
- Primary ATS can be set from the Overview tab of /settings.
- If you need a different ATS as primary ATS for dedupe-and-upload, ping oncall to change the secondary ATS to ats_lite.

Update ATS type
- Toggle on Pipeline Analytics for Gem Jobs. This setting is also found in the Gem Jobs section of the Overview tab.

Enable PA data build
- Wait for an email to confirm that the rebuild finished. However, this doesn’t mean that PA is ready to use!
- Toggle on Talent Compass Starter or Talent Compass Advanced in CRM modules. (This can also be done as the last step.)

Turn on Talent Compass
- Map stages as usual, or have the customer map their own stages.

Stage mapping
- After the stages are synced, TC is ready to use.
Limitations/Gotchas?
- A single team can only have TC on for either Gem Jobs or their ATS, not both

Please note that many of the use case library and widget templates won’t be available because Gem Jobs doesn’t have the same dimensions/info that these existing templates use, such as:
- Recruiter
- Department
- Sourcer
- Hiring Manager
- Race/Ethnicity (may do this in the future)
- Source & Source Type (may do this in the future - sub in Gem source)
