Turning on “Team allowlist” limits sign-ups and logins from this team domain to only people with email addresses on the allowlist. Note: This will enable team admins to edit their own allowlists.
Turning on “Allowlist synced from Rippling” means that the allowlist is synced from Rippling.
How to enable this feature
To enable this feature for a team, navigate to their Overview tab on the Support Dashboard, and scroll down to the Team Allowlist Settings.

FAQ
Q: Do we resync allowlists from Rippling in real-time?
A: By default, we resync the allowlist every 8 hours, so there’s a bit of a delay when a team adds a user in Rippling and when that email will be added to the allowlist in Gem. If you click See All Allowlist Emails , there’s a refresh button that causes the resync to run within a minute or two.
