The standard marketing clause in our MSA provides us with the rights to use a customers name and logo on our site and in marketing materials. However, some customer will redline that clause or ask that it be removed via contract notes.
(Internal) Making discounts contingent on marketing commitments in the Order Form covering what types of rights customers should be asked to grant based on their size and the amount of discounting applied to their Order Forms.
There is a Salesforce report that tracks what marketing rights we have with each customer. This is being noted for each new deal and renewal since December 2024, but not retroactively so if a customer is not on this report, please refer to their MSA and #ask-legal if you need help interpreting the clauses there.
