The Rippling Recruiting-Gem integration allows you to:
- Upload a candidate from Gem into Rippling and assign them to a job.
- Duplicate check against candidates who are already in Rippling using their name and email address.
- If an existing candidate profile is found in Rippling, you can merge the current Gem profile with it or choose to create a new Rippling profile for them.
Setup Instructions
Pre-work - If you’ve already connected another ATS and want to connect Rippling ATS to Gem, a Gem team member will need to set your team’s ATS to Rippling. If you are already working with a Gem Account Executive or Customer Success Manager, let them know that you are on Rippling. Otherwise, you can email the Gem Support team at support@gem.com to request that we make this change.
Ensure sufficient access - In order to connect Rippling with Gem, you need to have Admin user access on your Gem instance as well as the ability to install new apps within Rippling. See Gem access types and permissions for more access about Gem access.
Connect Gem with Rippling - Navigate to Gem’s listing in the Rippling App Shop while logged in to Rippling. Click the ‘Connect account’ button to begin the process of connecting Gem with Rippling. Follow the on screen steps until installation is complete.
