Add a team member
Team members are automatically added to your team if they share your domain when they sign up for Gem.
Email support@gem.com if you have team members from multiple domains.
Remove or deprovision a team member
Gem team members are automatically deprovisioned when the Gmail account associated with their Gem account is deactivated.
To manually deprovision a user who’s Gmail account is still active, complete the steps below. Note that the following occurs after a user is deprovisioned:
- They’re logged out immediately and can’t log back in.
- They’re hidden from your team dashboard, and can only be viewed when filtering for deprovisioned users.
- They're hidden from all stats and team views.
- All active sequences and scheduled reports created by this user are paused.
- All send-from permissions are revoked.
- All linked actions from saved searches are disabled.
Steps to deprovision a user:
- Select your account at the bottom of the main sidebar, then select the Admin settings option in the dropdown.
- Select the Users & permissions header in the top navigation.
- Select the Team members option in the left navigation.
- Search for or scroll down to the user you wish to deprovision.
- Select the three dots to open the Actions menu on the right side of the row for this user.
- Select the Deprovision user option in the dropdown.
- In the pop-up that appears, select the OK button.
