Overview
Linking a Gem user to a candidate profile lets Admins prevent team members from viewing information from their own interview process in Gem. This can be helpful if your team wants to limit access to personal scorecards and related activity while still allowing Admins to manage candidate and application data.
After an Admin links a user to the correct candidate profile, Gem hides the following information related to their candidate profile:
- Application scorecards and prospect scorecards
- Notes
- Activity feed
Requirements
- Your team uses Gem ATS.
- You have Admin access to your Gem account.
Note: Admins can’t unlink themselves.
Link Gem user to a candidate profile
- Select your account at the bottom of the main sidebar, then select the Admin settings option in the dropdown.
- Select the Users & permissions header.
- Search for, filter, or scroll down to the team member you wish to link to a candidate profile.
- Select the … more actions menu on the right side of that user’s row.
- Gem will automatically search for candidate profiles with matching names. Select the correct result, or change the search if the correct candidate profile is not surfacing.
- Select the checkbox next to the candidate profile you wish to link to this team member.
- Select the Update link button.
The page confirms the two users are now linked. This team member won’t be able to see their own scorecards, notes, and the activity feed from their candidate profile.
