Overview

We may sometimes get questions or requests for clarification from customers and prospects as to why we are not formal LinkedIn Partners. The following response can be shared with customers directly. If they have any follow-up questions after this, please feel free to post in #ask-legal.

Customer comms

Although LinkedIn has invited Gem to partner officially with them in the past, we do not have a formal partnership with LinkedIn, and there are no current plans to pursue one. Generally speaking, LinkedIn's partnership policies do not facilitate the full functionality that a high-performing CRM like Gem needs to deliver for customers, particularly for tools LinkedIn views as competitive. Partnering under those terms would require Gem to give up core capabilities like email finding, but this is functionality your recruiting team relies on every day. That's a compromise we're not willing to make at the expense of our customers.

We continuously evaluate partnership opportunities, and if LinkedIn's policies evolve in a way that enhances rather than limits what Gem can do for your team, we'd certainly consider it. But our priority is making sure Gem helps you recruit great candidates faster, and we'll only pursue partnerships that advance that goal.
